Staff Annual Meeting 2015

Staff Annual Retreat 2015 of SILAKA and Committee to Promote Women in Politics which called CPWP was held at Modolkiri province of Cambodia started from 23 to 26 October 2015.

At the first day of this meeting, we spent around 9 hours for travelling to the province that mentioned above. While we were travelling, we enjoyed many kinds of games; questions and answers that facilitated by Ms. Sary and Mr. Pitou. The final section of the first day, Mr. Steven worked as facilitator for SWOT of SILAKA organization and CPWP through raising up strong, weakness, opportunity and threat.

In the morning of the second day, the meeting started by peer-evaluation by writing good points on paper that motivated you work with. The papers were designed in the shape of heart.

After break time of this meeting, all department have to prepare their presentations about challenges and improved points. Through group presentation, they have to find new creative idea for their presentation.

In the afternoon we took all improvement points and challenges to put on table to discuss and find better ways to solve all problems and to develop strategic plan for 2015 to 2016 and updated SILAKA policy.

Before the closing meeting, Ms. Thida Khus, Executive Director of SILAKA and the Chairperson of Committer to Promote Women in Politics said that “We work as one family; We have the same missions and goals, so we will be successful together.”

On 25 October 2015, We spent one day to visit BOSRA waterfall; village of Indigenous and the Forest Sea that located in Modokiri province of Cambodia. The following day, we returned back to Phnom Penh city.
