Our training mission is to provide with individuals the learning options to achieve success in his/her career and increase his/her overall productivity.
SILAKA incorporates contextualized training materials coupled with participatory training methodology to maximize the learning experience. All our courses are delivered in Khmer by our dynamic team of Cambodia trainers.
We offer a wide range of regular scheduled training workshops throughout the semester that consist of 35 hours of real classroom time from 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Included in your training package are meals and refreshments, certificate of completion, photo souvenir, a post implementation plan, and student抯 packet complete with handouts and other essential training material in both Khmer/English. Also, available on request is individual participant evaluations.
Returning Students
3% Discount for all returning students. Please, bring a photocopy of your certificate with you and mention it when registering.
An additional 2% discount is available for women.
Group Discounts
Any organization that registers Five plus (5+) full paying participants on an individual course will receive the sixth (6th) place on the same course for 50% of the participant rate.
If the customer organization抯 group includes at least one female, then an additional 2% discount for the same course.
a. Training Tuition and Fee Payments
Tuition payment for upcoming course is due once the official confirmation of the course opening is announced. You may request alternative arrangements for payment only on special arrangement with SILAKA Administration prior to the date of the training.
b. Attendance/Participation Policy
In order to maximize the learning experience, it is essential to participate in class throughout the training week. For that reason it has been SILAKA policy to require at least 80% attendance to successfully complete the course and be eligible for certificate of completion.
c. Refund of Tuition and Fee Policy
For our training sessions, our policy is as follows:
100% refund if requested more than 1 week before the class
80% refund if requested within 3 days before the class
0 % refund with less than 1 days before class. You will instead be issued a credit toward a future course of equal value. Credits are valid for the current year only. All unclaimed credits are null and void if not claimed pass the New Year.
Refunds will be paid (or a credit authorization issued for payments by check) within two business days of the date the refund was requested. Refund request using organization sponsored funds must accompanied by a written request on organization letterhead signed by Organization Management. Payment will be in the organization抯 name and by check.
d. Substitutions
If circumstances prevent a previously registered person from attending a course, substitutions are permitted up to and on the day of the event.
e. Cancellations
If for any reason, a course that is earlier confirmed as opening as schedule, but cannot do so due to a change in participation or any other unforeseeable reason, SILAKA will reschedule the course at no additional cost to the participant. At that time, if the tuition and fee for the course has been prepaid the participant will be eligible for a full refund if requested.

a. Basic Cost Structure:
Charges for customized courses are calculated based on the following structure:
For existing curriculum, the fee is $350 per day for teaching time. A charge of 1-5 days for preparation time for a five day tailored class for existing curriculum may apply. The actual cost is calculated based on the content, material, and other resources needed.

b. Other Fees:
SILAKA抯 Per diem rate is $20.00/day per person for meal and lodging to the provinces. The cost of out of town travel for SILAKA staff is an additional client expense. Material costs $7/participant for a 3-5 day training and $9/participant for a 10 day training.
c. Basic Consulting Fee:
Senior consultant $300 per day
Junior consultant $100 per day
d. Payments:
15% at the signing of the contract, the rest upon negotiation, but no later than10 days after the delivery of service.
e. Administrative Fee:
All contract services a subject to Administrative fee: 15 % for training services and 10% for others special project services. The Administrative fee covers the administrative and management supervision and support, accounting, reporting, certificate, and production of flip charts.
