ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR)
Phnom Penh, Cambodia- On 23 September 2009, SILAKA Executive Director, Mrs. Thida Khus attended a discussion session lead by Cambodian Human Rights Action Committee (CHRAC) with other Cambodian NGO leaders in response to a request for a nomination of a person to represent the AICHR on behalf of the Cambodian Government.
The 2nd meeting was called by CHRAC on 5 October 2009 where participants were introduced the TOR for the Terms of Reference of ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR). Interested candidates were encouraged to submit their nomination by the deadline on the 9th October 09 and decision will be made on the same day by the late afternoon.
